If you need help, Catholic Charities Domestic Violence Services (DVS) offers shelter, safety and confidentiality. We provide life-saving help for victims of domestic abuse, harassment, or harm from your partner.

The Shelter
Catholic Charities provides survivors and their children with access to a state-of-the-art Domestic Violence Shelter designed to help you establish a safe, violence-free future. While you work to overcome the painful violence you’ve endured, our shelter offers a temporary safe, and confidential place to stay.
Our Shelter is tailored to meet the needs of adults and children, providing family-style living, a large kitchen to cook meals, living spaces, a playroom, and special spaces to work and play.

If you, or someone you are trying to help, are experiencing a DV crisis, we can help – now. Trained advocates are available by phone 24/7 – day or night – to answer questions, discuss options, and provide support. Hotline services include crisis intervention, safety planning, and shelter access.
Advocates are available to survivors, their friends and family, service providers, and the general community.

Once you’re safely sheltered, advocates will help you determine your next steps. We walk with you as you create a plan to move forward safely. Your plan will address practical concerns, as well as emotional barriers. Based on your plan, we’ll provide you with resources and referrals to appropriate community support and programs to match your needs.

After a survivor completes our program, our Community Reintegration Services provide resources and referrals for economic empowerment such as employment and housing needs.
Well beyond a shelter stay, we support survivors to live safely in pursuing their dreams without fear.
