Did You Know?
All Saints’ Day (November 1) and All Souls’ Day (November 2) are Catholic observances that honor the dead and celebrate the communion between the living and those who have passed on. All Saints’ Day is dedicated to all saints—known and unknown—who are believed to be in heaven, serving as role models of faith and holiness. All Souls’ Day is a time to pray for the souls in purgatory, helping them in their journey toward heaven. Together, these days offer a time for reflection, remembrance, and hope, emphasizing the connection between earthly life and eternal life in the Christian faith.
Dedicate Mass to a Loved One
Throughout the month of November, Catholic Charities will be hosting Masses in the Fr. Merwald Chapel to remember those we have lost. If you would like to dedicate a Mass to honor your loved one, please fill out the form at the link below. It would be our privilege to remember them and entrust them to God’s loving mercy.
