Meet Sommelier Ryan Hill

Meet Ryan Hill
Sommelier & Vintner, Hill Family Estates

Ryan brings a rare blend of passion, legacy, and expertise to the wine world. As a certified sommelier and the Director of Sales & Marketing for Hill Family Estates in Napa Valley, Ryan has spent the last two decades immersed in the art of wine – from vineyard to glass.

Raised among the vines, Ryan’s deep appreciation for winemaking began on his family’s farm and evolved into a lifelong vocation. He honed his knowledge of fine wine through formal sommelier training, international tastings, and hands-on experience working with master winemakers. His tasting philosophy is grounded in storytelling – drawing connections between flavor, heritage, and the people behind the wine.

Known for his engaging presence and approachable expertise, Ryan creates memorable wine experiences that educate and inspire. Whether guiding a private tasting or curating wine pairings for distinguished events, Ryan brings a signature warmth and depth that reflect the heart of Hill Family Estates.
